The Department of Orthopaedics and neurology caters to about 300 outpatients in a month and has an indoor bed strength of 30. This makes it a much specialised dept in Healing Earth. The initial consultation is with a Senior Ayurvedic Consultants who is having minimum 15 years of experience in handling Ortho and neurological problems.
In Healing Earth Ortho and neurology department The Consultation will have a detailed case taking, which includes Physical condition, mental stability and environmental factors, working atmosphere and other necessary details which is required for the diagnosis, followed with Nadi pareeksha (Pulse reading) with which the consultant is very well versed in understanding the basic route cause and imbalances which causing the disorder. Based on this the consultant will advise the patient what may be the cause for the disorder and what are the solutions and precautions should be taken care by the patient.
The department is well verse in treating the diseases like Osteoarthritis,Rheumatoid Arthritis,Gouty Arthritis,Cervical and lumbar spondylosis and spondylitis, Ankylosingspondylitis, Avascular necrosis, Fibromyalgia, Muscular dystrophy and other Orthopaedic disorders.
In neurology we are well versed in treating Paralysis, Multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s Facial palsy, Neuromylitisoptica, Sciatica, Diabetic neuropathy, motor neuron diseases etc.

Dr Farida Khanum. BAMS, MD (Ayurveda) is a well-known name in the Ayurveda fraternity. She has given years of her life to the ancient and traditional medicinal science of Ayurveda. With a strong educational background in Ayurveda.
Dr Farida Khanum brings with her a rich experience spanning over 15 years of successful Ayurvedic clinical practice. Having obtained the bachelor of Ayurveda medicine and surgery degree from SDM College of Ayurveda Hassan and post-graduation from Government Ayurveda Medical College, Bangalore.
