Hair Loss

Hair loss or baldness is loss of hair from the head or body. Premature hair loss and premature hair fall are major concerns among youth and it has become cosmetological issue nowadays. Hair is considered as an essential part of overall identity that too especially for women for whom it often represents femininity and attractiveness.Normally people have between 100000 to 150000 hair on their head. The number of strands normally lost in a day on an average is 100.In order to maintain a normal volume hair must be replaced at the same rate at which it is lost, the first signs of hair thinning that people will often notice are more hair than usual left in the hair brush after brushing or in basin after shampooing, or wide parting or thinning crown.Hair loss or hair thinning causes psychological stress due to its effect on appearance psychology of hair thinning is a complex issue, many are uncomfortable talking about this therefore it is a sensitive issue for both genders.   • Infection: Scar infection, secondary syphilis, fungal infection.
  • Drugs: BP, diabetes, heart disease, chemotherapy, birth control pills.
  • Trauma: Rigorous brushing, hair styling, major surgery.
  • Stress.
  • Hormonal imbalance
  • High fever.
