The Department of Ayurveda Surgery at the Healing Earth Multi-specialty Ayurveda Hospital was started in 2010 and it involves the study and management of surgical and para-surgical diseases according to Ayurveda. The Department of Ayurveda Surgery caters to about 250 outpatients in a month and has an indoor bed strength of 25. This makes it a much specialised dept in Healing Earth. The department is fully equipped to provide state-of-the-art Ayurvedic surgical therapy to all patients requiring surgical intervention. We strive to provide complete, comprehensive surgical care through Ayurveda that is of the highest quality to all our patients. Our mission is to provide this in an environment that includes patient care, teaching and research. We value compassion, quality, integrity, teamwork, clinical research and education. The initial consultation is with a Senior Ayurvedic Consultant who is having minimum 15 years of experience in handling surgical and para-surgical cases.

Uses herbal medicines, Panchakarma, and rejuvenation techniques to treat chronic conditions naturally.

Dr. Farida Khanum ( BAMS, MD) ( CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER)

Head of Orthopaedic & Neurological Disorders Department

Dr. Farida Khanum brings over 15 years of experience in Ayurvedic practice. She holds a BAMS degree from SDM College of Ayurveda, Hassan, and a post-graduate degree from Government Ayurveda Medical College, Bangalore.

She specializes in diagnosing disorders through Nadi Pareeksha (pulse reading) and identifying root imbalances in the body. Believing in healing the Rogi (patient) before the Roga (disease), she follows traditional Ayurvedic methods, prescribing natural, preservative-free medicines—highlighting the true essence of Ayurveda.
