A Visionary in Ayurveda with a Mission to Heal the World
Mr. Bobby John, an Aeronautical Engineering graduate from Chennai, is a man of integrity,
discipline, and vision. After completing his degree with distinction, he joined Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) in Bangalore. Alongside his professional career, he was an avid sports enthusiast, regularly participating in badminton and cricket
tournaments.
During one such event, he suffered a ligament tear (meniscus) in his left knee — a sports injury that deeply affected both his professional and personal life. At a time when modern medicine had limited non-surgical options, Bobby was advised to undergo surgery. Unwilling to pursue that route, he explored alternatives and was introduced to Ayurveda through a relative. Though initially unfamiliar with this ancient science, the transformative results of his treatment sparked a deep interest and respect for Ayurveda.

What began as a healing experience soon evolved into a life-changing passion. Bobby John was inspired by the unchanging, time-tested principles of Ayurveda — a 5000-year-old science rooted in nature and balance. He immersed himself in learning its fundamentals and envisioned a future where Ayurveda could be accessible to all, especially the poor and underserved.
Motivated by this vision, he left his corporate career at HAL and started Kooplicat Ayurveda Hospital from his home in 2001. His mission was clear: to offer authentic, ethical, and affordable Ayurvedic care. With time, he extended his efforts to Ayurvedic treatments in resort settings, bringing healing to international guests. He collaborated with resorts in Kumarakom, Kerala, offering genuine treatments to global wellness seekers.
His pursuit of Ayurvedic excellence took him to several countries — including the UAE, Singapore, Kuwait, and Sri Lanka — where he studied indigenous healing systems and explored ways to integrate global traditional practices with classical Ayurveda.

In 2006, he established an Ayurvedic clinic in Jumeirah, Dubai, providing technical expertise and supporting the growth of Ayurveda in the Gulf region. By 2010, his dream took a larger
form with the launch of Healing Earth Multi-Specialty Ayurveda Hospital in Bangalore —
a world-class facility developed in collaboration with NRI investors, aiming to bring
Ayurveda into the urban mainstream.
Mr. Bobby John’s journey is one of resilience, purpose, and service. With a strong team built on values of integrity, honesty, compassion, and unity, his guiding mantra became “One Team, One Mission.”
Today, as the torchbearer of Prithvi Healthcare, he continues his mission to globalize Ayurveda, ensuring its timeless wisdom touches lives across the world. His legacy is a living testimony to the transformative power of belief, vision, and dedicated action.
