Asthma is a disease affecting the airways that carry air to and from lungs. People who suffer from this chronic condition are said to be asthmatic. When person comes in contact with something that irritates lungs, known as trigger, airways become narrow, the muscle around then tighten, and there is an increase in production of sticky mucus or phlegm, which leads to difficulty breathing, wheezing, cough, tight chest.
