- Antipyretic: helps in different kinds of fever
- Antispasmodic, antidiarrheal: in abdominal problems especially in diarhoea and abdominal worms

- Joint pains: paste of dalchini is applied on the affected joints to relieve pain.

- Dalchini powder is taken everyday in empty stomach along with honey or warm water in atherosclerosis
- Diabetes: dalchini kashayam along with tulsi and honey if required.
